I didn’t say it was perfect, I said complete, there’s a difference. Got the necesarry goals, defended pretty well and locked it down. Whole thing felt pretty ruthless to me (apart from the empty netters obviously). Allowed a few too many shots than I’m comfortable with but thats why it had to be a complete performance because for that you need a good goalie performance in the mix. I’m hoping to see more of the same, because what we’re going to need to be a playoff team is some consistency. More like that please.

Doing it when necessary has been the issue. They did that vs Buffalo and they might just go someplace if they can continue to summon up a bit extra on command.

Yea. I counted 7 empty net misses in the last 3 minutes. BUT they didn’t allow the Sabres back into the game and it added some excitement watching those pucks go wide and hoping the next one would find the twine. Wife said “Don’t they practice that?” Lol They might now.

Mike I agree except for the last part? Why would you want somebody to be hurt? Even if you dont think he is very good, really wish for a player injury? I think you were just teasing? I get Petry is near the end of his career but have seen him have decent moments. Lyon was strong. The point is they won!
