As I look around the league it’s apparent the biggest mistake the Wings made was losing Jim Nill. He’s great at drafting and not afraid to make monster trades; he made the playoffs his 3rd year there and he’s rebuilt that Dallas team into a Stanley Cup contender in 10 years. After 10 years the Wings still look below average.
