Why, so the coach from one mediocre team can try to pump up another mediocre team. Ron Duff shows his ignorance of judging sports team by hyping the lions. Fact is the lions were a mediocre team who got the benefit of playing in a weak division while having an easy schedule. Fact is the only team the lions beat in the regular season who made the playoffs was the Chiefs and that was a first game of the season fluke. Otherwise the only teams the lions were able to beat were .500 or worse teams. The lions were lucky to beat the Rams and the only reason the Bucs were in the playoffs was they were in another weak NFL division otherwise they shouldn’t have been in the playoffs. Ron Duff doesn’t have the intellegence to look at a teams competition to judge how good or bad a team is going to be is the reason he is so hyped on the lions.

Have always thought Lalonde was too soft. My choices for the coaching vacancy two years ago were Tortorella & Tocchet. Both are in their second year of coaching their teams and the results speak for themselves.
