Yzerman really wants the team in the playoffs this year for team culture. Unless he is offered at least a 1 for him (which is doubtful) Kane will be staying put

Those teams that are contenders might offer something Steve can’t turn down. If Kane can choose where he goes and the right offer comes along, Yzerman wouldn’t hesitate to pull the trigger.

They are so soft it’s embarrassing. Just bring in guys that finish checks, punish you in front of our net and won’t get their heads twisted off after every whistle.

If Yzerman can acquire the help he feels is needed using draft choices I could see him trading some. More likely he’d need to give too much to get too little therefore probably they go on as the are. Possibly bringing up Griffins when/if their Calder run ends early.

The Wings asap could use trustworthy big Defenseman who can move the puck or stay home. If one is available, it’ll cost them plenty and they should try to get one who’ll stick around next year. OR bring in a pugilistic specialist who happens to play hockey to occupy space in the heads of speedy opponents.

Really, where did Seider and Raymond come from? Ras, Veleno who are contributing. Edvinson, Cossa and Mazur who could be here next yr. Not sure what your point is.

Makes no sense. This team was NOT built through the draft.
