A single player isn’t going to make enough difference to get them up to the Panthers level of play. If Yzerman has a blockbuster coming I’d be surprised. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him trade Kane for a high draft choice but only if Kane is in on it. I think he’ll leave the Griffins alone because they have a shot at the Calder. Most likely these are the Wings for better or worse playoffs or no. If they can’t cope with Larkin’s absence, its on them.
