Its easy to see his physical presence is his draw but to make it to Detroit he needs to work doubly hard on the rest of his game. When he gets it all going they’ll make a place for him. Good that he’s going to tune up in Wisconsin for a while.

A player like Cleveland can be very valuable in a playoff run where teams try and wear each other down over the course of a series. Big, tough, intense players are getting harder and harder to find as the younger players prefer a more non-contact style of hockey.

I don’t think you need a team full of guys who are 6.3 and above. I think you need a good mix of sizes and skill sets. Brett Hull and Luc Robitaille were neither big nor fast. But you need guys like that too. Pavs and Z were not big but had huge amounts of skill and speed. I think if you have a couple big forwards like Klim Kostin you throw him on the ice when Brady Tkachuk is taking liberties with smaller dudes like Raymond or Fabri.
