Mark I agree. I also think the improved goalie depth of Reimer and Lyon will keep Husso from being overworked. Its important bevause Husso was very good the first half of the year but played 56 games after only playing 40 games the year before. I think Reimer will get the shot first and Lyon will sfart the year in GR. I know some fans dont like Reimer because of some of his personal views. I understand that. Still he is a vet goalie who has had successful years in the NHL He and Alex Lyon will give them better depth.

But there’s no doubt this team has improved and should be right there again for the playoff push.
I like the prospective new look of the pp and pk too.

With newfound scoring and creativity from coaching the Wings will be holding the puck longer in the opposite end. That’ll keep Husso and his defenders fresh and make a winning playoff run even more exciting for everyone. Go Wings! Underdogs on a mission to win the division !
