I get your frustration, but the reality is that outside of the first 5-7 picks of the first round, the probability that players picked outside of this range ever actually play in the NHL is rather low. The lower the round, the lower the probability. It’s easy to sit and ridicule people years after these picks are made. Even the most highly respected scouts miss at a much higher frequency than they hit on players.

STEVE DOESN’T MAKE THE PICKS IN THE 2ND AND LATER ROUNDS, THESE PICKS ARE BROUGHT TO HIM. HOW ABOUT AN ARTICLE ON THIS DRAFTING SQUAD OF OURS…SO DISAPPOINTING FOR ALL THES YEARS.
