Welp, as for your suggestion to “move on” …. I agree totally.

And sometimes, as I reflect on losses such as last night’s to the Isles… I tell myself; “Welp, if the Wings would’ve WON this game versus NYI… then we likely would’ve been much more likely to come out a little “flat” on Saturday, versus the bad-ass FLA Panthers…”.

So the theory goes… that by losing a tough one last night, maybe it propels the Wings “emotionally” a tad on Saturday and leads to a much-needed victory over the Panthers !!

In the end, I guess it’s actually kind of a version of the good ol’ time-tested “Up/Down Theory” ! But hey, it’s all I got after that tough loss to the Isles !

In reply to Mark W. They were chasing the game?as Perron?said. Islanders the type of team that gives the Wings trouble. Lyon was off. He has overall been great but fatigue is a worry.A priority before next year is?a goalie who can tandem with Lyon.

The plus-minus tells much of the story in this loss. Nearly ALL the top forwards, half of the D and Lyon had an off night. Still the Wings kept it close. Forget this game get some rest and move on to begin the next win streak. LGRW.
