Looks like the Wings have six or more D men prospects and probably at least two of those could start next year maybe more with a little luck.

Re Olli Joulevi. The story I read from Vanc.went that he was out of shape for Vanc’s traditional pre-season cruncher drills. After, he layed out back-flat on the ice. (perhaps in fun) The media took the pic. Instant doghouse with fans and his coach who himself ironically was soon let go for poor performance.

Traded to the Panthers he’d been injured then he got covid in the midst of his final ten game stint with no points then he was put on waivers.

A former 1st round draft choice and only 23 Joulevi may just need a fresh start where he’s needed in order to develop. Seems a fair bet to take at the price.
