Not sure about LGD either. Love the guy for what he brings including effort and veteran guidance and leadership. I’m betting the Wings would like him back on a short term low price deal, as would probably most fans. But I wonder what he wants? Would he like to finish his career on a team that won’t be contending anytime soon? Or maybe he’d like to sign with a contender and get a shot at a Cup before he retires? Will be interesting to see what transpires.

However, that doesn’t mean you give him away from next to nothing. Players like De La Rose are a dime a dozen in the NHL.

I grew up in Wayne, graduated from Wayne Memorial. You are not alone in your thinking. It’s a reasonable thought, but Yzerman likes Glendening. The Red Wings do like Chase Pearson and they seem centering the fourth line at some point.Thanks for reading my story

I would go younger and cheaper for the 4th Line Center. I would go with Chase Pearson. I’m in full agreement with the other points.
