I think wings need to pull the trigger and select Wallstedt if he’s available… he seems to be the real deal – plus, we’ve still got that other first rounder.. I not too mention, Wallstedt is from same hometown as a certain player who wore #5 🤔🤔

I agree with you Pete. The reason why GMs are reluctant to take goalies in the first round is that there as many epic fails as success stories. Goalies are challenging to project. Thanks for reading.

McCollum was an excellent goaltender in the OHL for Guelph and Brampton and was/is an excellent citizen for Detroit, but he did not work out at the NHL level.

Buyer beware with goaltenders.
