The Detroit Red Wings quest for a sixth consecutive road win tonight in Carolina is important to Detroit fans. But seems less important than the San Jose Hockey Now story about how former Sharks player Tony Hrkac saved a life in the San Jose press box

TMZ originally broke the story of Hrkac, 57, performing a Heimlich maneuver to save an NHL employee who was choking on a pretzel in the San Jose Sharks press box on Jan. 4. The person resumed normal breathing after a piece of pretzel was ejected by the Heimlich.

Hrkac was an original Sharks player, and has been with the Lightning since 2015.
