The Daily: Capitals’ Tom Wilson Reveals His Strangest Autograph Requests; Milan Lucic Back to Bruins?

Autograph requests come with being a professional athlete. Not everyone wants the player to sign a program, trading card or jersey, though.

Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson admits he has received some unusual requests.

“It’s always weird when people ask you to like, sign human skin, you know?” Wilson told Washington Hockey Now’s Sammi Silber. “You know, I mean a forehead or an arm. You’re always kind of hesitant.”

The veteran forward does his due diligence before signing on skin, making sure that’s really what the fan wants. Silber wrote about Wilson’s autograph requests this week on Washington Hockey Now.

“If a little kid comes up and is like, ‘Sign my forehead,’ you’re like, ‘Do your parents know about that? Because it’s Sharpie, it doesn’t come off too easy,’” Wilson said.
