No time to panic or anything close but any of those this team is winning a cup comments should be gone.

They are in a good position to make the playoffs this year but it more because OTT/BUF and other teams are underperforming. Take the good fortune get focused to work to win every game you can and finish getting in and gain the experience. It will be a learning moment for them even if they get swept by FLA.

They are still a few pieces from being close to contending. Gritty power forward, big physical vet top 4 RD, even goalie is still a question for the next couple years. They should get better but it won’t get easier from here. In fact, it will get harder to take positive steps the better they get.

Team of kids? Its a pretty even mix of vets and young players. Also what successful vet coach would take the Wings job now? Gallant turned them down for the Rangers. The Wings have to start winning before the kind of coach u mean will take the job. Name me a vet coach they?could get?

I have said all along that putting an inexperienced coach in charge of the team of kids is a mistake. Also not having a tough couple of dmen is killing us. Stevie has failed in this area.
