Dylan Larkin will be in the lineup tonight, a week after he was put on injurec reserve. “It’s a boost but I think it slots people correctly,” coach Derek Lalonde said. “I don’t know if he’ll be at the top of his game like he was before. You saw it with J.T. (Compher) the other night. J.T. was a big boost for us because it slotted the guys correctly, but it takes a little time with NHL pace.” …

Also on the injury front, goalie Alex Lyon is upbeat despite having to leave Saturday’s game. As for a timetable for a return, he said on Monday, “I think sooner rather than later. The body feels pretty good. I think I’ll be able to get back on the ice pretty soon.” Lalonde said Monday if Ly0n can’t play Wednesday, he might go on the IR. …

Meanwhile, the Red Wings are looking to end a skid which has seen them lose five of their last six games and score only one goal in their last two contests. Tbe schedule does them no favors, with four games this week. “We got to push,” Lalonde said. “We knew we had this stretch of games circled for a while (and it) was going to be a really tough grind. Everybody has one or two of these on their schedule. It happened to be now for us. Obviously, we’ve let points slip away. We have four games in six days, we got to push. These are very valuable points. No time to feel sorry for ourselves. We got to dig a little bit deeper.” …

The Ducks are slumping, too, having lost 11 of 12 games before a 5-1 win at New Jersey on Sunday. The skid has dropped them into seventh place in the Pacific Division, a point ahead of San Jose, which went 0-10-1 to start the seaaon.
