So often a graveyard of dreams for the Detroit Red Wings, is this going to be the occasion when Boston’s TD Garden extends them a lifeline of hope?

The Red Wings and Boston Bruins clash Saturday (7 p.m. ET). Detroit is carrying an 0-1-1 salte through the past two games, It’s the first time all season the Red Wings have gone consecutive games without posting a victory.

“I’m excited heading into next game and seeing how we react,” Detroit forward David Perron said. “It’s gonna be a good test to see how we react.”

Boston is also seeking a bounce back performance. In their last game, the Bruins squandered a two-goal third-period lead and lost in overtime to the Anaheim Ducks, falling from the ranks of the unbeaten.
