Not sure that I can agree with that, the fact that the team has improved to the level that we are seeing this season speaks volumes, and this is without a number one overall pick, and few first round busts drafted under Holland. A lot of the negative fan base seems to forget where this team was at in 2018, take a look at that roster and tell me that the team was only a couple of seasons away from contending, if you really think that, then you clearly are delusional. When Holland left the team was locked up with no cap space, horrible contracts for veterans that realistically belonged in the AHL, amd no real difference makers in Grand Rapids. Now the team is leaps and bounds better, has a few decent prospects that look like they can make the team a contender, and plenty of cap space. Yes there have been some misses, such as the Justin Holl contract, and to a lesser extent the Andrew Copp contract, but this is a team headed in the right direction, that with a few key pieces can be a serious Cup contender for years to come, just look at Tampa, they weren’t perfect in 2016, but look at the success they have had year after year since.

Get over fact he was a great player. Six years and same problems. No excuses anymore. He isn’t good enough to oversee this disaster. Time to move on from him and this piss poor excuse of a coaching staff. You may proceed to rip me now, but the results back me up. This is the softest team in the league. The sieve of a defense is destroying goalies. The players have little to no heart or pride.

Have either of you two folks above (RW or John) seen Kasper play Live “in person” much?
Cuz I gotta believe that the various writers who have have been of a “single mind” that Kasper will never be much more than a #3C, have prolly all been “at the rink” for their analysis …
Thanks
