Red Wings Need To Target Numbers to Make Playoffs (+)

When a member of the media asks Red Wings general manager Steve Yzerman what area of his team’s game needs his attention most, he essentially says every area.

He’s not kidding.

Although the Red Wings’ desire to score more next season was a focal point this summer, it was clear Yzerman was trying to address multiple areas of concern. Yzerman and coach Derek Lalonde know there are problems, evidenced by statistics, that have to be cleaned up to make the playoffs.
